A self-adhesive labeling machine uses self-adhesive roll labeling paper. Using a bottle unscrambler to automatically feed bottles, the machine continuously tears off the roll and applies it to the bottles in the desired position. This machine's control system utilizes a computer programmable LCD touch screen with text and button controls. This modern mechatronic product offers excellent and reliable performance. It is clean and mold-resistant, and the labels applied are beautiful, durable, and will not peel off, resulting in high production efficiency.
A self-adhesive labeling machine must be thoroughly inspected before and after use to ensure that unnecessary errors are avoided.
I. Preparations Before Starting the Machine
1. Check the cleanliness of the workroom, remove any excess items, and check that the labeling machine displays the "Cleaned" status indicator.
2. Adjust the distance between the peel plate and the bottle to 1.5–3 mm. Too close will cause friction between the label backing and the bottle, causing the label to break. Too much distance will prevent the label from being properly applied to the bottle.
3. Adjust the distance between the label roller and the peel plate to 1.5–3 mm. This is primarily to address the issue of the label roller not rolling on the label paper.
4. Use the bottle to check the tightness between the label roller and the label roller. Ensure the bottle is pressed firmly enough to fit. If too loose or too tight, adjust the label stopper and the lifting wheel of the label roller mounting bracket.
5. Place the label paper on the label roller. Once all adjustments are made, place the label on the printer ribbon, groove sheet, electric probe, peel plate, and pressure shaft. Turn the machine on. Check the water and electricity switches and supply status.
II. Power On:
1. Turn on the power; the indicator light will illuminate.
2. Heat the printer's head and adjust the knob to the highest setting. After 3-6 minutes, when the batch number is clearly visible, adjust the knob to level 2 and follow the standard operating procedures for thermal printers.
III. Check the sensitivity of the photoelectric head
Check the bottle's photoelectric detector by placing a barrier at a distance from the photoelectric head.
This concludes today's discussion on checking the proper function of the self-adhesive labeling machine before and after operation. I hope this will be helpful for your future use of this equipment.
